Description:

A potent and selective PDE10A inhibitor with IC50 of 7.28 nM; displays 30-500-fold selectivity over PDE10A, 2A, 11A, 5A, 7B and 3A, shows no inhibitory activity for PDE1B, 4A, 6, 8A and 9A (IC50>5 uM); reverses stereotypy and hyperactivity induced by MK-801 in rats; also inhibits adrenergic and neurogenic smooth muscle contractions in the human prostate, inhibits neurogenic contractions with similar efficacy than tadalafil.
