FLY26 partially inhibits the GluN2B subunit of NMDA receptors, reduces calcium ion influx and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and activates the BDNF/TrkB/CREB neuroprotective signaling pathway to alleviate neuronal excitotoxicity and mitochondrial dysfunction.
