Description:

4-BBPB maleate is a highly potent agonist of σ1 receptor with Ki of 0.8 nM; attenuates activity of neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS), blunts ischemia-induced nitric oxide production, and provides neuroprotection in stroke models.
