Description:

NSC 23925 is a small molecule compound that reverses multiple drug resistance (MDR) in human cancer cell lines, reverses MDR1 (Pgp1) but does not inhibit MRP or BCRP-mediated MDR; shows maximal reversal of resistance in SKOV-3TR or OVCAR8TR to cytotoxic drugs is 0.5 uM to 1 uM; stimulates ATPase activity of Pgp, increases the intracellular accumulation of Pgp1 substrates.
