Description: LolCDE-IN-1 is an inhibitor of the Lol proteins (LolCDE) complex, with antibacterial activity[1].

In Vitro: LolCDE-IN-1 (compound 2) inhibits the function of the LolCDE complex, which is required for transport of lipoproteins to the outer membrane[1]. LolCDE-IN-1 inhibits E. coli ATCC 25922 and E. coli ATCC 25922 ΔtolCwith MIC with 8 μg/ml and 0.125 μg/ml[1]. LolCDE-IN-1 inhibits bacterial growth by targeting LolCDE to block lipoprotein transport to the outer membrane[1].
